LEGAL
Rights, responsibility and ownership - in plain language.
FRAMAINE is built on documented consent and clear agreements. Here is the map of who owns what, which documents apply, and where responsibility sits - for brands, talents, agencies and visitors.
THE DOCUMENTS
Terms of Service
The agreement between your brand and FRAMAINE: license, credits, payment, liability.
Privacy Policy
What data we process, why, and your GDPR rights - incl. the special rules for talents' facial data.
AI & Content Policy
AI labeling (EU AI Act art. 50), the likeness line and acceptable use.
For brands: who owns the images?
You own the usage rights. You receive a worldwide, perpetual commercial license to the images and videos you generate for your own brand's marketing - web, social, print, advertising and marketplaces. Models you create are exclusive to your account.
For Digital Twins, the usage right applies within the approved booking: the use, duration and volume the talent actively said yes to. Any use beyond the agreement requires a new approval. The talent always keeps the rights to their own face - what you license is the right to use the specific, approved images.
All AI-generated material must be presented as AI-generated. FRAMAINE labels and stores metadata; as the publisher you carry an independent duty of clear labeling in your own channels under the EU AI Act.
For brands: your uploads and your warranty
When you upload garments, moodboards, references or photos of your own models, you sign a rights declaration in the atelier before upload opens. With it you warrant that you hold all necessary rights and consents to the material - and you indemnify FRAMAINE (Meotine ApS) against third-party claims arising from your uploads.
Photos of real people require the person's documented, written consent, which you must be able to produce. Creating or approximating a real person's likeness without consent is prohibited and blocked at engine level.
For talents (AI Twins): your protection
Your Digital Twin is only created on the basis of a signed license agreement that precisely describes purpose, use, duration and your compensation - never a buyout of your rights. Ownership of your likeness stays with you; FRAMAINE licenses per project.
No brand can generate a single image without your active yes to that exact project. You read the brief, know the usage and your share, and you can decline without giving a reason. Your no-go limits (e.g. politics, alcohol, lingerie) are enforced at every approval.
You can pause your twin or withdraw your consent at any time. New generations stop immediately, and your trained AI model and training photos are deleted on request (GDPR art. 17). Campaign images already approved and delivered to brands are unaffected.
Your facial data is treated as sensitive data: only on the basis of your explicit, written consent, only for the agreed purpose, and never for training other models.
For agencies
Agencies are part of the infrastructure, not a middleman to bypass. Your talents' license agreements can be signed with the agency as party or co-signatory, and your agency login gives a combined view of bookings, earnings and status for every linked talent.
Commission and split between agency and talent is your internal agreement; FRAMAINE's fee and the talent's share are stated in the license agreement before it is signed.
For visitors
All imagery on framaine.com is AI-generated and labeled as such. Library models depict no real person; Digital Twins depict real people with their documented consent.
We only use functional cookies (login and language/currency choice) - no tracking. If you write to us via the contact form, we handle your inquiry under the privacy policy.
Liability and disputes
FRAMAINE is operated by Meotine ApS, Store Kongensgade 118, 1264 Copenhagen K, Denmark. The service is provided as is; our total liability towards a brand is limited as described in the Terms of Service. Responsibility for uploads sits with the uploader; responsibility for correct AI labeling in own channels sits with the publisher of the material.
Questions, objections or complaints: hello@framai.dk or +45 22 60 11 08. Data protection complaints may also be directed to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet). Agreements are governed by Danish law.
This page is a plain-language overview and does not amend the binding documents: the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the AI & Content Policy, and the signed rights declarations and license agreements.
